Visitors Counter: TurtleMax

TurtleMax is the new lashing system used mostly for timber packages. TurtleMax is much more efficient than using chains or steel wires. It is consists of two major parts: polyester webbing and tensioning device.

Tensioning Device Webbing TurtleMax

Features
Load restraint using a tensioning device (ratchet)
Safe-release feature (stand-off operation)
Efficient tie-down and release of load thus saving time
One man operation
No damage to the load being tied down
Tailor-made system to match vessel’s specifications, tie down provisions and cargo dimensions
Gasoline-, lubricant- and solvent-proof

Notes:
10kN = 1000kg (1 ton).
MBL (Maximum Breaking Load) is calculated as average for 100 tests, all tests fall within 5% tolerance from average value.
MSL (Maximum Securing Load) is calculation as 50% of MBL for steel parts and 70% of MBL for webbing parts.
